Hello!

My name is Christina Rosenberg

Equinetics Sport Horse Rehab has been a vision of mine since the final year of my physical therapy program. Through chatting with fellow horse owners and several veterinarians, I recognized that there is a need for certified equine rehabilitation professionals. There is especially a need for these professionals who can also evaluate the rider from a physical therapy perspective in order to address the whole team. My goal is to help the rider as well as the horse to become the best team possible through hands-on treatment and education.

I grew up in Southern California and was introduced to horseback riding at the age of 6. I fell in love immediately and there was no going back! I learned how to ride both Western and English and spent most of my showing career in the ring with my miniature horses. As I got older, I decided to invest my time in the Hunter/Jumpers although I still have my minis and love them dearly. I recently added a Holsteiner gelding to my herd and look forward to learning more from him in the Hunter and Equitation rings.

I graduated in August 2022 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and received my license in North Carolina.* I have since been working towards becoming a well-rounded equine healthcare professional. I received my Equine Sports Massage Therapist (ESMT) certification in December 2022. I am also taking courses to become a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CERP) through the University of Tennessee, and plan to complete this program in the Spring of 2023.

As of right now, I am able to offer Equine BEMER Therapy and Equine Bodywork. I am also able to address any impairments or limitations that you as the rider may be experiencing through physical therapy.* If you have pain or discomfort in or out of the saddle, mobility restrictions, or strength deficits, I may be able to help!

For any other questions, please reach out using the email or phone number below or on the "Connect" page. I look forward to working with you and your horse!

*Being a licensed physical therapist in the state of North Carolina allows me to render physical therapy services to persons only, not animals. Any treatment provided to your horse is therapeutic in nature and should not be construed as physical therapy.
